My name is Peter Miller. I grew up in Fairbanks and completed my B.S. in Cellular Biology and Neuroscience at Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana. I am taking this class as a part of my degree program in Secondary Education. My content area is Biology and I am currently student teaching at North Pole High School. I am interested in hands on, interactive, place based education, citizen science, sustainability and agriculture. I see myself eventually getting certified to teach a variety of subjects. I would like to find ways of integrating the required curriculums into interdisciplinary projects that engage students in meaningful explorations of their world.
