This elementary social studies teacher sparked my interest in terms of being an inspiration. She started a new project for her students to get them engaged and excited about learning social studies subjects. Her early failures in school made her more determined to make sure students didn’t feel the same way she did about failure, and actually being interested in the topics not just memorizing dates and names.
